中国摄影家利用摄影为历史积累了大量珍贵图像文献;不少国外摄影家来到中国,怀着善意和平等的态度拍摄中国风土、人物和景观,也让世界更多地了解了中国。为了迎接中国共产党建党90周年、辛亥革命100周年,以影像形式,从百姓衣食住行、婚丧嫁娶、喜怒哀乐等日常生活视角,挖掘和整理中华民族的集体记忆,反映中国社会一百多年来的巨大进步和沧桑巨变,弘扬中华文化和民族精神,中国艺术研究院中国摄影家杂志社与包商银行联合主办,中国艺术研究院摄影艺术研究所、中国摄影家杂志社承办以“百年中国”为主题的“包商银行杯”中国国际摄影双年展。为配合此次双年展,本刊特开辟“百姓·百年”专栏,用以刊登部分征集到的优秀照片。
Chinese photographers have used photography to accumulate a large amount of precious images and documents for their history. Many foreign photographers came to China and photograph Chinese terroir, figures and landscapes with goodwill and equality. They also let the world know more about China. To tie in with the Biennale, this issue has opened up “people hundred years” column, to publish part of the outstanding collection of photos.
