近年来改进刀具的主要方向之一是赋予刀刃以一个自由度。这种刀具可保证其切削部分的耐用度比在类似加工条件下的普通刀具高20~50倍,但由于其自身的许多特点限制,它主要被用于精加工和半精加工。同时,小批和单件生产所固有的大余量切除问题要求研制能以更大切削参数进行切削的旋转刀具。本文介绍的切削刃呈螺线形的多刃自转车刀就属于这一类型。
One of the main directions for improving the tool in recent years is to give the blade a degree of freedom.
