哲理的故事:在1911年12月之前,没有哪个地球人到达过南极点。所以这是一百年前所有最伟大的探险者、所有最具有探险精神及有此梦想的人最想做到的事情。挪威的阿蒙森团队和英国的科斯特团队共同竞争这一荣誉,都想率先完成这一壮举。阿蒙森团队有5个人,斯科特团队有17人,他们都差不多从1911年10月在南极圈的外围做好了准备,准备进行冲刺。结果却很令人吃惊,看似人员较少、实力一般的阿蒙森团队在两个多月后,也就是1911年12月15日,率先到达了南极点,插上了挪威国旗,并最终安全返回。
