对目前科技期刊插图存在的一些问题进行了初步剖析,指出应强调插图所表现的物理意义,特别是同一幅插图中相关物理量之间的关系不能忽视,对于插图物理量和单位的审查应注意两者的搭配,对于表现力不好的插图应进行适当修改,并可改为表格。改进后的插图不仅在物理意义上更加严谨,对正文的补充说明也更加清晰、完整。因此,科技期刊编辑加强对插图的审查在提高期刊全面质量中起着重要作用。
