图书发行业的起始与发展以至图书市场的逐步形成在整个出版业中占有举足轻重的地位,于是,有人将此称作“中国图书业发展的瓶颈”,也有人喻为:“流通流通,一通百通”,反之亦然。不管这种观点是否确切,却从一个视角反映了发行业的重要性。上海是我国重要的出版基地,也是近现代中国出版事业的发祥地。上海图书市场的真正形成,应以十一届三中全会为起点,因为在这之前,仅有新华书店独家发行(解放前上海滩的图书市场不在本文所说之内)。十一届三中全会后,上海图书发行业贯彻改革、开放、搞活的总体方针,按照以国营书店为主
The beginning and development of the book distribution industry as well as the gradual formation of the book market occupy a decisive position in the entire publishing industry. Some people call this the “bottleneck in the development of the Chinese book industry.” Some people also call it: “Circulation and circulation, Belden ”and vice versa.
