吉林省为我国产粮大省,建国以来粮食产量持续增长,特别是70年代以来,总产有了更大突破。目前,全省粮食总产已由建国初期的50亿公斤增加到近五年的150亿公斤,增加了2倍。其中玉米总产由建国初期的12亿公斤提高到100亿公斤,增加了7.3倍。玉米总产的大幅度增长,对我省粮食总产跨上175亿公斤新台阶也将起决定性作用。
Jilin Province is the major grain-producing province in our country. Since the founding of the People’s Republic, the grain output has continued to grow. Especially since the 1970s, the total output has made a greater breakthrough. At present, the province’s total grain output has risen from 5 billion kilograms in the early days of the founding of New China to 15 billion kilograms in the past five years, an increase of two times. The total output of corn rose from 1.2 billion kilograms in the early days of the founding of New China to 10 billion kilos, an increase of 7.3 times. The substantial increase in the total output of corn will also play a decisive role in the total output of grain in our province spanning a new level of 17.5 billion kilograms.
