From April 1986 to April 2000, 126 cases of maxillofacial fracture caused by traffic accidents were treated. Among them, 54 were injured in motorcycles, 49 were injured in automobiles, 16 were injured in bicycles and 7 were injured in walking and falling. There were 97 males and 29 females in 126 cases, 12 cases were aged ≤14 years and 48 cases were aged 15-24 years
