今天,我们怀着极其沉痛的心清,在这里纪念中国共产党党员、党的电影事业的忠诚战士,我们可敬可爱的老战友、老同志、老艺术家成荫同志。成荫同志是第四届全国人大代表,第五、六届全国政协委员,全国文联委员,中国电影家协会副主席,北京电影学院名誉院长,是一位成就卓著、在国内外都有重大影响的电影导演艺术家、电影剧作家、电影教育家和戏剧家。4月26日晚上七时五十分,因心肌梗塞症突发,抢救无效,不幸逝世,终年六十七岁。噩耗传来,我们电影界、文化艺术界和他一起战斗、工作过以及受到过他的教导和培养的同志们,无不感到深深的悲痛和不尽的怀念。成荫同志祖籍江苏松江,1917年生于山东曹县。从青年时代起就献身中国人民的革命事业。1937年“七七事变”的爆发,激发了他极大的爱国热忱,他当即参加学生救亡运动,组织抗日宣传队到城乡演出救亡戏剧和
