随着新课改的推进步伐,在小学英语教学中,越来越多的学校开始重视培养小学生的综合运用语言能力。目前在农村小学,由于受经济条件的限制,学生学习英语的环境欠佳,小学英语教学发展比较滞后,小学生的英语课外阅读能力普遍较低。本文对农村小学英语课文阅读教学存在的问题进行了阐述,并提出培养小学生英语课外阅读能力的策略,仅供参考。
With the progress of the new curriculum reform, in primary English teaching, more and more schools have begun to attach importance to cultivating primary students’ comprehensive use of language skills. At present in primary schools in rural areas, due to the restriction of economic conditions, the environment for students ’learning English is not good and the development of primary school English teaching lags behind. Primary school students’ ability of reading extracurricular English is generally low. This article elaborates on the problems existing in English text reading teaching in rural primary schools and puts forward the strategies of cultivating English reading ability for primary school students for reference purposes only.
