2009年入秋以来,一场特大干旱在云南、贵州、广西、四川、重庆等西南地区蔓延,并日益肆虐,给西南地区的群众生活和工农业生产造成了巨大困难。旱情就是冲锋号!国家防汛抗旱总指挥部、水利部迅速动员,深入一线,科学组织,中央有关部委大力协同,各司其职,解放军、武警部队积极支援,会同西南地区各省(区、市)政府及广大人民群众,打响了一场斗旱魔、保民生、保生产的攻坚战!
Since the autumn of 2009, an extremely arid drought has spread to and wreaked havoc in the southwestern regions of Yunnan, Guizhou, Guangxi, Sichuan and Chongqing, causing tremendous difficulties to the mass life and industrial and agricultural production in the southwest. The State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters, the Ministry of Water Resources quickly mobilized, first-line, scientific organization, the central ministries and commissions vigorously cooperate with each other in their respective roles, the PLA and Armed Police Force actively support, together with the provinces of Southwest China (autonomous regions and municipalities) The government and the broad masses of the people have started a strenuous battle to fight drought, protect the people’s livelihood and ensure production.
