土生葡人的存在 ,是澳门社会的一大特点 ,也是澳门历史文化研究领域的重要研究对象之一。它是澳门在长期的历史发展过程中形成的一个特殊群体。在现时的澳门 ,不论是华人 ,还是“葡萄牙后裔居民” ,都乐意称后者为“土生葡人” ;而葡籍人则常用“澳门人”(Ｍａｃａｅｎｓｅｓ)?
The existence of native Portuguese is one of the major characteristics of Macao society and one of the important research subjects in the field of history and culture of Macao. It is a special group formed by Macao in the long history of development. In present-day Macau, both Chinese and “residents of Portuguese descent” are happy to call the latter a “native Portuguese”; whereas Portuguese people often use “Macaenses”?
