为了加快初级卫生保健实施进程,江苏省政府于1996年11月召开了全省农村初保工作会议,会后下发《关于进一步加强农村初级卫生保健工作的通知》。一年多来,全省各地认真贯彻会议精神,思想统一,目标明确,狠抓落实,成效显著。全省初保合作县(市)已由原来的32个上升至55个,普及面由50％上升到85.93％,地处苏南、苏中的苏州、无锡、常州、南京、镇江、扬州、南通、泰州等8个省辖市所属的36个县(市)全部达到了初保合格标准。
In order to speed up the implementation of primary health care, the Jiangsu Provincial Government held a meeting on rural primary protection in the province in November 1996. After the meeting, it issued the “Notice on Further Strengthening Rural Primary Health Care Work.” Over the past year or so, all parts of the province have conscientiously implemented the spirit of the meeting, unified ideology, clear goals, and implemented it with great results. The province’s primary insurance cooperation counties (cities) have risen from the original 32 to 55, and the popularity has increased from 50% to 85.93%. It is located in Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou, Nanjing, Zhenjiang, and Yangzhou in Southern Jiangsu and Central Jiangsu. The 36 counties (cities) affiliated to 8 municipalities such as Nantong and Taizhou all met the initial insurance eligibility criteria.
