American writer Rick Bass (1958-) is an active thinker of natural ecology and resource conservation and one of the greatest novelists in contemporary western America. He began writing fictional works in 1989 and published a collection of short stories “Watchtower,” and later published the novel “The Sea of Fate” (1995), the short story collection “The Life of Rocks” (2006) and the nonfiction “Namibia Black Buffalo ”(2012) and more than twenty works.
