猴鸡岁交之际,我国各地生产资料市场上线材价格出现了一种奇特现象,就象中国的地形一样,由东往西,明显呈现海拔越高、价格也就越高的特点。这种市场形势,实际在去年12月中旬就已初露端倪,今年1月初到春节前后逐渐明朗化。现时,一直“领导”线材价格“新潮流”的广东市场,线材成交吨价不过2800—2900元,江苏线材每吨3000—3100元,大连、沈阳线材每吨3000—3100元。就在沿海地区线材价格“不吃香”时,西安线材吨价却涨到了3400—3500元左右,成都线材吨价更高,为3500—3700元,而与之“同饮一江水”的重庆,线材吨价竟高达3800—3850元。一些行家甚至预计,成、渝两地线材吨价爬上4000元的高位不是没有可能。
