今年的有色金属技术预测包括铝、钛、镁、铜、镍、锌、铅及其合金方面的进展。处于铝技术最前面的是新型铝-锂合金。由于锂的加入,使合金的密度减小而刚度增加。所以,有人报导用这种合金制造某些飞机零件,可以减少重量百分之十五。 钛方面的显著进展是生产出高纯电解提纯钛,可用在电子仪器方面,制造出电子束精炼低夹杂含量合金,考虑用在航天部件上。
This year’s forecast for nonferrous metals includes advances in aluminum, titanium, magnesium, copper, nickel, zinc, lead and alloys. At the forefront of aluminum technology is the new aluminum-lithium alloy. Due to the addition of lithium, the density of the alloy is reduced and the stiffness is increased. Therefore, it was reported that the manufacture of certain aircraft parts made of this alloy could reduce the weight by 15%. Significant progress in titanium is the production of high-purity electrolytically purified titanium, which can be used in electronic instrumentation to produce electron beam-refined low-inclusion alloys that are considered for use in aerospace components.
