《玩偶之家》的主人公娜拉和《雷雨》中的蘩漪有着相似的“玩偶”经历,对男性话语霸权都进行了不同程度的反抗。但在不同作家的笔下,两位女性展现出中西两种不同文化根源和社会背景下的个性差异,蘩漪的反抗性与觉醒度远不如娜拉来得深刻。蘩漪展现的是旧时代中国女性的坚强与懦弱交织的双重性格,娜拉则由充满幻想的家庭妇女成长为追求个性解放的勇士。
Nora, the protagonist of Doll’s House, has a similar “doll” experience with Yi Yi in “Thunderstorm”, and has various degrees of resistance against male discourse hegemony. However, in the writings of different writers, the two women demonstrated the differences in personality between Chinese and Western cultures under two different cultural backgrounds and social contexts. The rivalry and awakening of Yi Fen are far behind those of Nara. Fan Yi shows the double character of the strong and the cowardly Chinese women in the old times. Nora grew up from a fantasy family woman to a warrior who pursues individual liberation.
