扁豆,又名白扁豆。为豆科一年生缠绕草本植物扁豆(Dolichos Lablab L.)的种子。始载于《名医别录》。《本草纲目·卷二十四·扁豆》曰:“藊本作扁,荚形扁也”故名。我国南北各地民间皆有以嫩豆荚作蔬菜煮食的习惯。正如《本草纲目》所说:“嫩时可充蔬食茶料,老则收子煮食”。入药当选秋冬采收之成熟果实,晒干除杂,炮制以微炒至黄色,略带焦斑为度。《名医别录》曰:“味甘,
