艮为山,八卦中艮卦符号的产生,是古人观察山是由一块一块石头组成,故画“==”象征高山中大小不同的石块,再由低到高,最上一层是起伏不平的山顶线,用“-”画出,于是形成了象征山的符号“(?)”。 另外一种理解,山是由一道道山梁和一道道沟凹构成,用“==”表示两道山梁,一道沟凹,以“-”表示山梁和山凹向山的主体最高处的横线,这样就形成了艮卦的符号(?),以象山。艮卦在天代表云,在地理代表山,在人物代表少男,在时序代表
