在批林批孔运动的推动下,俺队广大贫下中农开展了大面积玉米制种。302.5亩“郑单2号”的制种田获得丰收,亩产种子259.3斤,混合单产353斤。除满足今年全队普及“郑单2号”用种外,还支援兄弟队杂交种7万余斤。过去,由于刘少奇、林彪反革命修正主义路线的干扰,加之土地沙荒瘠薄,俺队的产量只有百把斤,年年靠救济。经过无产阶级文化大革命,特别开展批林批孔以来,在党支部的领导下,认真学习马列的书和毛主席著作,进一步激发了广大贫下中农自力更生的革命精神,决心淘汰旧有的玉米品种,自己动手配制足够的玉米杂交种。狠抓了以下几项措施,保证了制种工作的顺利进行。
