本文从中动结构中“错配”论元结构的理据性、合法性和独特性角度探讨了英语中动结构的限制条件。合格的中动句要能有效地对非施事主语属性化,其主语的所指必须在谓词行为之前就存在,必然地蕴涵了意愿性的动词以及可由施事控制的自主性修饰语不能进入中动结构,因为唯一可以承担该语义特征的施事在论元结构中是隐性的。
