梅是蔷薇科李属落叶乔木,它枝干挺秀,隆冬时节,花蕾凌雪绽放。梅花素雅洁美的体态和清峻绝俗的风格给人以美好的感受,历来受到艺术家们的青睐。在我国古代大量的咏梅诗篇中,诗人们或描绘梅花鲜妍美丽的风姿,淡泊幽远的意趣;或就梅花花期早、衔雪而开的特性赞美它卓然不群的品格;或借写梅花的雪魄冰魂,隐喻人生,表达对某种傲岸坚贞的凛然峻节的礼赞,抒写自己执着于理想的心怀。 《夏梅说》为作者的托物写怀之作。文章虽也是写梅,但取材角度却别出机杼。文章由作者友人的一首《夏梅》诗生发出感想,作者认为:梅花与冰雪为伴,
