各位英模同志:今天我要报告的主要是这次大会的评选经过及评选的结果。评选工作是这次大会主要工作之一,大会筹委会一成立,就专门组织了评选委员会,大会开幕后,又把这个委员会扩大了,继续进行此项工作。除了召开委员会,专门讨论此项工作外,为了便利评选工作的进行,在评委会之下,又按代表不同性质组织了八个小组,即:军队、民兵、公安、工业、农业、财经、文教、政法等组,在上列各个小组下,再按性质分成若干小组。例如农业组,其中又分兴修水利、增加产量、种棉麻、灭虫、兽医等小组。
