西湖上层污泥为流动污泥、是污染西湖水质的元凶。用传统的挖泥船挖、难子清除。作者建议采用干湖清淤，疏浚西湖。并提出西湖污泥可作为一种有机肥资源来开发利用。
The upper sludge of the West Lake is flowing sludge, which is the culprit of water quality in the West Lake. Dredging with a traditional dredge, difficult to remove children. The authors suggest using dry lake dredging, dredging the West Lake. And proposed West Lake sludge can be used as an organic fertilizer resources to develop and use.
