艺术设计学科是典型的交叉学科,它几乎涵盖了所有的实用艺术,如产品设计、室内装饰设计、环境景观设计、服饰织染设计、多媒体设计等。这些不同种类的实用艺术,存在着很多共同点,如它们有着共同的审美观念和表达要素,也有相近的制作流程。艺术设计学科的交叉性,表现在学科体系内各专业之间,也表现在与其他学科的关联上。在艺术设计学科体系内部,各个设计专业各自既有着不能被其他专业所替代的独特性,又能不断相互借鉴和启发。
The discipline of art design is a typical interdisciplinary discipline that covers almost all practical arts such as product design, interior design, landscape design, apparel and dyeing design, multimedia design and so on. These different kinds of practical arts have many things in common. For example, they share a common aesthetic concept and expression element and have similar production processes. The intersection of art design disciplines, manifested in various disciplines within the discipline system, but also in the association with other disciplines. Within the art design disciplinary system, each of the design professions has its own uniqueness that can not be replaced by other professions, and can continuously learn and inspire each other.
