慢性鼻窦炎常有嗅觉障碍。随着炎症治愈,有的能改善,也有的不能改善。3例认为由慢性鼻窦炎引起的嗅觉缺失的患者,取嗅上皮,以常用的PAP法处理后,行免疫组织化学检查。嗅细胞中含有对维持嗅功能所必须的神经原特异性烯醇酶(NSE)。因此用抗NSE抗体引起免疫反应的免疫组织化学染色法,可进一步观察到嗅细胞的形态和机能情况。结果在2例患者的嗅上皮中,嗅细胞的树状突和核周围出现了抗NSE抗体引起的免疫反应。说明存在着抗NSE抗体反应的嗅细胞。临床上,1例随炎症治愈,嗅觉有改善。另一例可望经长期
Chronic sinusitis often have olfactory disorders. With inflammation cured, some can improve, and some can not improve. Three patients believed to have olfactory loss caused by chronic sinusitis were taken from the olfactory epithelium and treated with the usual PAP method for immunohistochemical examination. Olfactory cells contain neuron-specific enolase (NSE) necessary for the maintenance of olfactory function. Therefore, the use of anti-NSE antibody-induced immune response to immunohistochemical staining, we can further observe the morphology and function of olfactory cells. Results In the olfactory epithelium of two patients, an immune response elicited by anti-NSE antibodies appeared on dendrites and nuclei of olfactory cells. Shows the presence of anti-NSE antibody response in olfactory cells. Clinically, one case cured with inflammation, improve the sense of smell. Another case is expected to be long-term
