最近几年,俄军空降兵以新的作战原则对部队进行了技术和组织结构上的改进,这些新原则吸收了反恐作战和完成维和行动任务中获得的成功经验。特别重视了利用装甲战车来提高空降兵部队的火力、机动性和防护能力。2008年初首次公开展示的BMD-4M就是其最新型伞兵战车。
In recent years, the Russian airborne forces have given technical and organizational improvements to their units with new operational principles that have absorbed the successful experience gained in the anti-terrorist operations and the completion of the tasks of peacekeeping operations.
