The province’s provincial industrial coordination conference held in Shanxi Province in June this year presented a magnificent battle target to the people of the province. By 1962, it produced an annual output of 6.5 million tons of steel. With iron and steel as the center, the company marched toward the technology. This inspiring call has greatly inspired the people of the province. At present, the province has produced an upsurge in the iron and steel industry. Following the earth blast furnace of Yingzongshe of Yangcheng County, workers of the Guxian Ironworks created a small hand-operated converter to quickly develop the iron and steel industry at the county, township and village levels.
