在担任黄埔军校校长期间,蒋介石一共培训了23期黄埔学员,后来大都成了国民党军界的佼佼者。在这些所谓的“高徒”中有一个人令蒋介石不能释怀,这个人就是林彪。在辽沈决战前的军政会议上,蒋介石曾扼腕感慨说:“……这个人就是林彪。我要表扬他,他是黄埔最优秀的将军,因为他把他的学长和教官都打败了。我这个校长失职啊,在黄埔对他关心不够,以致他投奔了共产党。”
During his tenure as president of the Whampoa Military Academy, Chiang Kai-shek trained a total of 23 Whampoa students and most of them later became leaders of the Kuomintang’s military. One person in these so-called “High Stupions” made Chiang Kai-shek unable to let go. This man is Lin Biao. At the military and government conference that was held before the war was drafted by the Liao Dynasty, Chiang Kai-shek once said with emotion: “This man is Lin Biao, and I want to commend him for being the best general of Whampoa because he has defeated both his seniors and his instructors. My headmaster was out of duty, not paying enough attention to him at Whampoa, so he went to the Communists. ”
