According to the July-August 2011 issue of “Энергетика”, experts at the Belarusian National Technical University have analyzed the effect of high temperatures on the strength characteristics of steam pipelines and parts of high and medium pressure turbines. The graph of diffusion creep and temperature is given, showing that temperature has a decisive effect. Calculate the self-diffusion coefficient of steel.
