稀土镁钙合金是近年来我国出现的一种新颖蠕化剂,也是一种适合冲天炉高硫铁水使用的比较理想的蠕化剂,但是在各地试用这种蠕化剂时出现炉前操作困难,有粘包底、合金漂浮和需要人工搅拌等一系列的问题,并且处理后的铁水蠕化衰退较快,因而影响了这种合金作为蠕化剂的推广使用. 我们在冲天炉熔化的条件下,在稀土镁钙合金内拌入食盐来处理铁水,解决了上述炉前操作上出现的问题。在处理后的铁水表面加硅钙合金以防止蠕化衰退。并对有关机理进行了初步探讨.
