正因为以薛松为代表的基于上海的艺术家和上海之间的共生关系,我称薛松的艺术为“新海派艺术”。“新海派”和旧海派的承袭关系不容忽视,但是因为是当代艺术,带着与生俱来的反思性和自省性。作为莫干山艺术区的最早进驻者,也因为几十年如一日对特定风格的寻求和坚持,在传统中求变求创新,薛松成为当之无愧的新海派的代表。
Because of the symbiotic relationship between Shanghai artists and Shanghai, represented by Xue Song, I call Xue Song the art of “Neo-Shanghai Art.” The relationship between the “Xinhai School” and the old Shanghai School can not be ignored, but because of contemporary art, with innate reflexivity and introspection. As the earliest presence of Moganshan art district, Xue Shui also became the well-deserved representative of Xinhai School because of seeking and persisting in a certain style for decades, and seeking innovation in tradition.
