高等学校处在反对“和平演变”斗争的前沿阵地,担负着培养社会主义建设者和接班人的重大使命,因此,中共中央《关于加强高等学校党的建设的通知》中明确指出:“总结建国以来高等教育的发展和改革,特别是近几年来反对和平演变斗争的经验教训,高等学校要坚持社会主义方向,必须加强和改善党的领导,加强党的建设,充分发挥党组织和党员的作用”,这对建设社会主义的大学具有特殊重要意义。几年来我系党总支遵照党中央指示的精神,在学校党委领导下,为加强党的建设,发挥党总支政治核心作用,进行了认真的实践和探索,取得了初步成效。搞好“班子”团结,努力建设一个坚强的领导核心党的团结是党的生命,是“班子”建设的重要内容,总支强调要像爱护眼睛一样维护团结,在实践中总支成员自觉地把维护党的团结作为自己的神圣职责,从政治上思想上工作上
