上甘岭战役的硝烟已经熄灭了六十多年,但我仍然无法忘记那血与火的画面,在抗美援朝胜利60周年来到之际,我写下这段文字,作一点纪念。暴风雨前夜1952年,种种迹象表明,美军可能在朝鲜中部“铁三角”地区发动进攻,我军把这个地方叫上甘岭。驻守在这里的是志愿军第三兵团,我们开始了大量的战备工作。9月底,兵团机关组织干部到第一线部队考察战备情况。我来到第15军45师在西方山的一个前沿连队。
