江泽民同志的“七一”重要讲话,全面论述了关于“三个代表”的科学内涵和辩证关系,回答了在充满希望和挑战的21世纪加强和改进中共党的建设的重大理论和现实问题。学习总书记的讲话,联系民主党派的自身建设问题,我感到,江泽民同志“七一”讲话,既是中共加强和改进党的建设的纲领,也是民主党派在新世纪搞好自身建设的指南。因为民主党派与中共有共同的奋斗目标——建设有中国特色的社会主义现代化国家,同处于世界多样化、经济全球化和国内全面改革开放的大环境下,同样面临实现政党的双重现代化的任务,即参与推动整个社会的现代化和推动政党自身的现代化。所以民主党派的建设问题也要坚持以邓小平理论为指导,按照江泽民同志讲话精神,深入对民主党派建设中现存问题和民主党派的今后发展进行思考。

Therefore, we must adhere to Deng Xiaoping Theory as the guide and follow the example of Comrade Jiang Zemin’s speech to deeply think about the existing problems in the building of democratic parties and the future development of democratic parties under the guidance of Deng Xiaoping Theory.
