十多年来,华宁县盘溪镇自来水厂本着“面向社会、服务人民”的原则,不断加大投资,进一步完善供水配套设施,拓宽供水地域,其供水管网横跨南盘江及小江,使数万百姓受益,饮上了清洁卫生的自来水。盘溪虽有九条大小江河,但均属自然流水,时浑时清,尤其废物排泄,极不卫生,严重危害着长期饮用这些污染水源的当地各族群众。为此,当地政府极为重视,在上级的支持下,于1986年投资80万元在南盘江畔建起了当时玉溪地区最早的一个供水规模为3000m~3/d的乡镇级自来水厂。当洁净的自来水流进千家万户时,人们无不感动得热泪盈眶,相互传告。水厂的建成,是造福于民的一件大好事,不仅为当地群
