宜昌市夷陵区位于三峡工程所在地,是集城区、坝区、库区、矿区和山区为一体,又以山区为主的人口大区。全区现有中小学校58所,在校学生4.4万人。夷陵区教育局积极推进全区教育均衡发展,围绕社会和家长对学生最关心的安全、健康、成才问题和学习好、生活好、环境好、身体好、品德好的“五好”期盼,完善后勤服务管理体制,创新经营模式,全面进行食堂、商店食品商品统一配送改革,后勤服务水平再上新台阶。
