慧琳《一切經音義》卷七十五為東漢安世高所譯《道地經》立65個條目加以解説,從今存版本來看,二者文字有同有異,各有優劣。異文情況主要有以下幾類:1.慧琳音義和《道地經》僅用字不同,文意實一致;2.慧琳音義和《道地經》用字差異體現了詞彙差異,二者文意各自能講通;3.令本慧林音義已訛;4.慧琳音義所據寫本大藏經已訛;5.慧琳自身失誤;6.《道地經》用字形近而訛;7.《道地經》用字音同而訛。
