This article explores a related receiver that can be considered as a combination of a carrier tracking loop and a modulation tracking loop. In addition to the general receiver low-pass filter, but also includes a parallel band-pass filter in order to restore the signal and modulation feedback. A linear model of this system is proposed, whose performance is above the calculated critical value. It has been demonstrated that the use of a high-modulation narrow-band modulated signal results in a significant improvement in the performance of a typical carrier-tracking phase-locked loop. This hybrid loop has been used for FM demodulation of narrowband subcarriers that receive a single ranging signal and wide spacing.
