在经济周期的不同阶段,各因素间规律性变动的叠加造就了美元汇率的规律性波动。美国作为世界第一大经济体和主要储备货币发行国,其货币汇率的变动对于当前世界经济稳定和复苏的影响不言而喻。温家宝总理就曾明确表示对中国的外汇储备在美国的资产十分关心,希望美国作为经济大国,切实负起责任,保持赤字的适度规模,从而保持汇率的基本稳定。
At different stages of the economic cycle, the superposition of regular changes among various factors has created regular fluctuations in the exchange rate of the U.S. dollar. The United States, as the world’s largest economy and the major reserve currency issue country, whose exchange rate changes affect the current world economic stability and recovery, is self-evident. Premier Wen Jiabao made it clear that he was very concerned about China’s foreign exchange reserves in the United States. He hoped that the United States, as an economic power, would take the responsibility and maintain the proper scale of the deficit so as to maintain the basic stability of the exchange rate.
