The supervision of public opinion marks a country’s democracy and civilization. The news media is an important means of public opinion supervision. It can arouse social justice and people’s conscience. however. Just “arousing” is not enough, the key is “effective.” If the correct news criticism (commonly referred to as the exposure) does not produce any effect and the issues revealed can not be dealt with properly, public opinion supervision can only stand still
