From 1996 to 1997, 19 cases of high esophageal cancer were treated with total esophagectomy, and the upper gastrointestinal tract was reconstructed in the stomach or colon. The report is as follows. 1 Clinical data and methods 1-1 General information The group of 19 patients, 12 males and 7 females. Age 38 to 67 years old, average 53 years old. All the patients had obvious difficulty in eating. 5 cases only had liquid diet, hoarseness and neck spasms.
