在近20年来的美国,初级卫生保健已成为卫生部门和全社会所普遍关注的重大课题。与此相适应的是家庭医学有了迅速发展。培养家庭医生的基地已遍及全美各地,目前全美约有400个。在医学院毕业生中,选择家庭医学专业的有明显增加的趋势,一般约占16%~20%,有的已高达30%~40%。家庭医学已成立有专门的专家委员会(1986年成立)。家庭医生已成为专科化的医生。第二次世界大战以后,美国的私人开业医生绝大多数(约为85%)为通科医生。到了60年代,出现向专科化迅速发展的趋势,通科的开业医降至45%。医学院毕业
In the United States in the past 20 years, primary health care has become a major topic of common concern for the health sector and society as a whole. Adapting to this is the rapid development of family medicine. The home base for cultivating family doctors has spread all over the United States. At present, there are about 400 in the United States. Among medical graduates, there is a marked increase in the selection of family medicine majors, which generally account for about 16% to 20%, and some have as high as 30% to 40%. Family medicine has established a special expert committee (established in 1986). Family doctors have become specialized doctors. After the Second World War, the vast majority of American private practitioners (about 85%) were general practitioners. In the 1960s, there was a trend toward rapid development of specialization, and the number of medical practitioners in Tungkuo fell to 45%. Graduated from medical school
