“旋风切削螺紋”这一新的螺紋加工方法,目前正在勘探机械部門广泛的推行。旋风切削螺紋專用的机床,除可利用普通車床加以改装(在刀架上设置一个旋风刀盤便成)外,最近昆明探矿机械厂新試制成功了一批專为加工地質勘探套管和鑽桿螺紋用的旋风管子車床,有些机修單位已开始使用。操作这种机床不需要很高的操作技术,祇要能掌握刀具刃磨和刀具裝夾与校准(对刀)工作,便可熟練地进行切削。但是,旋风切削运动的原理,以及影响旋风切削效能和加工表面質量的因素,却远較一般螺紋切削力法复杂得多。所以,要想使这种机床充分发挥效能,还必須掌握一些有关旋风切削运动的基本概念及求解某一因素的計算方法。为此笔者仅就切削理論方面,作一扼要的介紹,供实际操作的同志們参考。
