8月14日以来,我国东北黑龙江、松花江等流域发生较大洪水,广东等地受强台风“尤特”侵袭,造成重大人员伤亡和财产损失。按照党中央、国务院领导同志批示、指示要求,各地党委、政府、解放军和武警部队、广大干部群众迅速行动起来,积极投入抗洪抢险,妥善安置受灾群众。国务院及有关部门派出工作组赴灾区指导抗洪救灾工作。8月16日,吉林抚松县公安边防大队官兵组织营救受灾群众。8月20日,在辽宁抚顺清原县红透山镇新红透山小区,边防官兵挖掘被淤泥掩埋的车辆。广东各地转移被洪水围困群众。
