一、语法的界定与类别1.1语法的定义在牛津现代高级英译汉词典(1993)中,语法被定义为“关于单词、句子(句法)以及单词构成(形态学)的研究或科学”。Longman现代词典中语法的定义为“对于单词变形以及单词组成句子的规则使用的研究”。Longman应用语言学词典(1989)中是这样定义语法的:语法是语言结构和词组(语)等语言单位组成句子的方式和描述,它通常包括这些句子在各个语言系统中的意义和功能。实际上,语法是“多维的”(Batstone 1994),它有多层含义。

Definition and Classification of Grammar 1.1 Definition of Grammar Grammar is defined in the Oxford Advanced English-Chinese Dictionary (1993) as “research or science on words, sentences (syntax) and word formation (morphology) . The definition of grammar in Longman’s modern dictionaries is ”the study of the use of words in the formation of words and the formation of sentences.“ The grammar is defined in the Longman Dictionary of Applied Linguistics (1989) as follows: Grammar is a way and description of how sentences are made up of linguistic units and phrases, and usually includes the meaning and function of these sentences in various linguistic systems. In fact, the grammar is ”Multidimensional " (Batstone 1994), which has multiple meanings.
