The wide field of vision of the satellite imagery and vivid images provide favorable conditions for macroscopic analysis of regional geological structures. In the past, the geotechnical surveying and mapping work was carried out along narrow lines on both sides of the line during the course of railway route selection. This has great limitations in identifying regional geological structures. As a result, it is difficult to ensure the stability of the railway route selection and to bring about a series of hidden dangers after the railway is completed and opened to traffic, which seriously hinders the smooth flow of railway transportation.
