跚跚来迟的澳大利亚联邦政府第一份科技白皮书于1992年8月17日公布于众。这是澳政府继1989年发表科技声明后所推出的又一重要的科技政策纲领性文献。这份白皮书虽然没有什么惊人之举,但它不失为澳政府科技政策和措施的概括和总结。全书叙述的四个主题是:创新、科技意识、教育与培训和科研基础。其主旨是充分利用和开发科技成果,大搞技术革新,推动生产发展,为社会创造财富。
The first technical white paper of the Australian federal government, which laughed late, was released on August 17, 1992. This is another important scientific and technological policy document that the Australian government introduced after its scientific and technological statement was released in 1989. Although this white paper is not surprising, it is a generalization and conclusion of the Australian government's science and technology policies and measures. The four topics covered in the book are: innovation, awareness of science and technology, education and training, and research foundation. Its main thrust is to make full use of and develop scientific and technological achievements, devote major efforts to technological innovation, promote production and development, and create wealth for the community.
