近年来山东省各县市区使用的森林资源数据大多是在2000年森林资源二类清查的基础上进行推算,数据陈旧不能反映森林资源的最新分布状态。为满足编制森林经营方案、总体设计、林业区划与规划设计等森林经营与管理的需要而进行森林资源调查。依托北京地林伟业科技股份有限公司的FORESTAR GIS自主平台进行研发,开发了适合山东省森林资源状况的森林资源动态监测软件。烟台市森林资源数量位居我省前列,该市森林资源清查利用该软件不仅提高了资源调查的准确性,而且提高了调查速度,提高了烟台市的林业信息化水平。
