八月八日,是归国华侨、优秀的新闻记者仓夷烈士牺牲五十周年的日子。中共福清市委、福清市人民政府和新华社福建分社,联合在福清举行仓夷烈士牺牲五十周年纪念活动。在纪念会上,福清市委领导、新华社福建分社代表、仓夷烈士的战友和亲属代表先后发言,表示要在缅怀烈士的同时,发扬烈士爱国与敬业精神,为祖国社会主义现代化建设作出贡献。
August 8 is the 50th anniversary of the sacrifice of the martyrs at CangYi by outstanding overseas Chinese and returned overseas Chinese. CPC Fuqing Municipal Party Committee, Fuqing Municipal People’s Government and Xinhua News Agency, Fujian Branch, held jointly in Fuqing CangYi martyrs sacrificial 50th anniversary commemoration. At the commemorative meeting, the leaders of Fuqing Municipal Party Committee, representatives of Xinhua News Agency’s Fujian Branch and his comrades-in-arms and relatives of CangYi Martyrs said successively that while cherishing their memory of the martyrs, they should carry forward the patriotism and dedication of martyrs to make contributions to the socialist modernization drive in the motherland.
