从上世纪七八十年代开始,在音乐剧的演唱中,许多歌唱家开始尝试在同一首作品中运用截然不同的两种歌唱方法,美声唱法和流行唱法来演唱,也就是本文所探讨的美声唱法与流行唱法相融合演唱方式,这种演唱方法在音乐剧中被广泛的运用。这种相融合的演唱特点是既能够娴熟运用古典美声唱法的演唱技巧,又能结合流行唱法的发声方式。在演唱歌曲时根据表现内容的需要轻松游刃于两种唱法之间,声音体现出两种唱法的交替或综合使用。
